Fall Shopping Frenzy

I'm having a great time helping with my friends event to raise funds for her granddaughter's education. Great group of people, a like of neat stuff for sale. My niece visiting from NJ is helping me out being my roadie this weekend. She helped me set up my table.

That autumn nip in the air - starting to think of the holidays and shopping for gifts. It's also my busy season for shows and holiday fairs.

Santa's Village Craft Fair

Santa's Village Arts & Craft Fair at Fauquier High School on Saturday Nov 19 will be my last show for the year, then its turkey & family & pet portraits & evergreens & sparkle & cookies & makin' stuff & santa & then in January - I'll rest

I'll be in Gainesville at the Holiday Gift Fair at the Church of the Word on Rt 29 - Saturday, November 12th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They are also collecting non-perishable food items for the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry.

Chilly at A Day at The Plains

A Day at The Plains was chilly, drizzly, and blustery. There were a few brave souls there (we few, we happy few, we band of brothers) Some of us lost our tents to the wind, or clung onto them for dear life. So thank you to those who showed up and came by and said 'hi'. Hopefully we will have more cooperative weather next year  :)

So far its looking like good weather for "A Day in the Plains" (in The Plains, VA) I'll be there with original art, including some featuring The Plains, prints, notecards, and Christmas cards.

 

Rain & Thunderstorms for this area tomorrow and Sunday. As much as it disappoints me, I'm going to be a no show this weekend.

Fun times at "A Day in The Plains"

Yesterday at "A Day in The Plains" was a blast. Met some nice people, the weather was absolutely spectacular and got to spend the day with my hubby/roadie, without whom, I could never do the shows - he is a great help. I was very encouraged by the fact that The Plains paintings I did were a hit, and I sold my first original painting at one of these events. Paul & I were so beat, we slept until after 8:30 this morning! Thank you everyone for all the nice comments and to those who made a purchase.

A Day in The Plains

Labor Day Weekend - Fall Car Show

What a nice Labor Day weekend. Got a lot of yard work done and My husband & I went to the Fall Car Show in Warrenton on Saturday.
